'In this video, learn to make Manipuri traditional dish - Mangan (yellow peas) and Usoi (fresh bamboo shoot)  Ooti (stew/dal). The dish is best enjoyed with steamed rice or khichdi.  ✅Ingredients: ✔️ 2 and a half cup soaked yellow peas ✔️ 1 cup thin slices of bamboo shoot (fresh     or canned  but not the fermented ones) ✔️ 1 bay leaf ✔️ 2 tsp baking soda (not powder) ✔️ 1/3 cup onion slices  ✔️ 1/3 cup garlic chives  ✔️ 2-3 slit green chillies  ✔️ 1/2 tsp each cumin & fenugreek seeds ✔️ 1/2 tsp each cumin & coriander powder  ✔️ 3 -4 tbs oil ✔️ 2 tbs milk ✔️ Salt to taste ✔️ 3- 4 cups water
