'In this video, we explain about different roles in the food chain and how vital they are.  We talk about producers, consumers and the cleaners of nature, or decomposers. We explain what are primary and secondary consumers, or herbivores, carnivores and omnivores, and how each animal has a specific place in the food chain. Try to spot the gopher eating a lion!  Aligned with Next Generation Science Standards  K-LS1-1 Interdependent Relationships in Ecosystems: Animals, Plants, and Their Environment Use observations to describe patterns of what plants and animals (including humans) need to survive. LS1.C: Organization for Matter and Energy Flow in Organisms All animals need food in order to live and grow. They obtain their food from plants or from other animals. Plants need water and light to live and grow.'
