Add ingredients of Phase A into a heat resistant glass beaker and pre-mix with a spatula. Place in a hot water bath that is slightly simmering. Heat Phase A to 76°C/170°F or until all ingredients are fully melted. Make sure the color and texture look uniform. Remove from the heat and aspirate into the syringe immediately, fill pencils while the mixture is still liquid. Pigment mixture can be placed back into the hot water base to stay liquid, until pencils are filled. Stir frequently to keep ingredients and pigments mixed. Cool pencils before sharpening or place into refrigerator to speed up the cooling process. Info: This is a very basic pencil formulation for vinyl or wooden pencils. *Natural Gel Wax consists of Ricinus Communis (castor) seed oil, hydrogenated castor oil, beeswax, copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax.
