'Uric acid is a chemical created when the body breaks down substances called purines. Purines are a natural substance found in the body. Avoid foods and drinks that are high in purines to help lower uric acid levels. Purine rich foods include organ meats like liver and kidneys, shellfish, alcohol, sugary foods and beverages. Gout is a kind of arthritis caused by a buildup of uric acid crystals in the joints. The process of metabolizing purine-rich foods may lead to gout by causing the body to produce too much uric acid. Gout causes pain and swelling in one or more joints, commonly the big toe joint. Low-Purine foods may steadily lower uric acid levels or at least avoid further increases. Some low-purine food include- .Fresh fruits and vegetables .Low-fat dairy products, such as yogurt and skimmed milk .Seeds and nuts including nut butters .Potatoes, rice, and pasta .Whole grains .Eggs (in moderation) .Oils such as olive oil .Plenty of water and other non-sugary and non-alcoholic drinks Foods that controls uric acid levels- 1.Cherries 2.Coffee 3.Citrus fruits 4.Green tea 5.High fibre-foods 6.Apple cider vinegar 7.Water or fluids Thanks for watching and share the video with your friends and family'
