'Disassembly and REPAIR of an EXCALIBUR 2400 Dehydrator. After 5 years of heavy use the Thermal cutoff fuse burned out broken. I suspect a sticky syrup residue buildup caused the temperature control thermostat contacts to stick closed. I cleaned this with some isopropyl alcohol. Also, the thermal fuse is about an inch away from the heating element so its possible to be a design fault. Total cost of electronics fix was $1.60 for replacement install. Not heating fan spinning. Food storage vegetable garden dried tomatoes.'
