'Every organism eats other organism or plant for its survival. The food and hence the energy is transferred from one trophic level to other. Finally through decomposers it get mixed with either soil or ocean and return to first trophic level in the form of a chain. Plants are called producers and form the first trophic level. The grass or plant eaters (herbivores) directly depend on plants for their food. These animals are called primary consumers. Secondary consumers eat primary consumers while tertiary consumers eat secondary. Apex predators is the top level in the food chain. The final part of food chain is a process of decomposition. The decomposers are termed as detritivores which mainly include the fungi and bacteria. #Whatisafoodchain#educational video for kids#kidscloud#foodchainforkids#producers#primary consumers#secondaryconsumers#tertiaryonsumers#predator#prey#decomposers#bacteria#fungi#firsttrophiclevel#second trophiclevel#foodchainpyramid#herbivores#carnivores#omnivores#photosynthesis#carbon dioxide#generalsciencetopics#meaningoffoodchain#interactivelearning#earlyyearseducation,'
