'We\'ve been receiving mail from fans for many years, and thought it would be great to start sharing the fun with all of you in a \"PO Box Haul\" video! If you want to send us something {i.e. packages, letters, photos, drawings, crafts, etc}, it may be featured in a future video here on our channel! How cool is that??? Here is our address: BrooklynAndBailey P.O. Box 1335 Allen, TX 75013 USA * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * Our family has a tradition every year of coloring eggs for Easter. We\'ve grown tired of the regular store-bought egg-dying kits having only very pastel-looking colors, so we wanted to show you today something more vibrant. Today\'s video is on how to dye vibrant Easter Eggs with an easy-to-follow recipe and with products you have at home! Please note: Easter is not celebrated by everyone, and that is OK, but it also means a whole lot more than just the Easter bunny and candy to millions of people worldwide, and that is OK, too! We choose the latter, and remember our Savior this time of year! * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * Boiling the Eggs: Place the whole eggs in a saucepan, and fill it enough to completely cover the eggs. Feel free to add 1 tsp salt, which will make the eggs easier to peel. Bring the water to a rapid boil, then cover the saucepan and remove the eggs from heat. Allow to sit for 15 minutes, then drain the eggs and let cool {you can speed this up by placing the eggs under cold running water, or place them in the refrigerator}. * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * Prepping the Colors: Each cup should be filled with 2 Tablespoons of distilled white vinegar, and 1 Cup of hot boiled water. Allow each egg to soak for 10 minutes, turning each egg over half way through the time. {Orange and Yellow need to soak for 15 minutes.} Then add McCormick Food Colorings, both Assorted and Neon, in the following dosage combinations in order to bring out brilliant egg colors: Vibrant Magenta - 10 mins soaking Neon Pink {10 drops} Neon Purple {4 drops} Vibrant Red - 10 mins soaking Neon Pink {10 drops} Neon Purple {1 drop} Red {2 drops} Vibrant Green - 10 mins soaking Neon Green {20 drops} Neon Blue {2 drops} Green {1 drop} Vibrant Blue - 10 mins soaking Neon Blue {6 drops} Blue {1 drop} Vibrant Purple - 10 mins soaking Neon Blue {7 drops} Neon Pink {5 drops} Vibrant Orange - 15 mins soaking Yellow {20 drops} Red {5 drops} Vibrant Yellow - 15 mins soaking Yellow {15 drops} Neon Green {2 drops} After the soak time is complete, carefully spoon out each egg and lay it in a muffin tin to dry. If you choose to dye more eggs, you will want to either add more dye, remix new dyes, or let the egg sit for a longer period of time. Feel free to wear gloves and an apron to prevent color staining on your hands and clothing. * Inspired by http://www.notmartha.org * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * Don\'t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel... http://bit.ly/Ykm9pi Follow us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/BrooklynAndBailey Follow us on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/BrookAndBailey Follow us on Instagram and see daily photos of what we are doing: http://www.instagram.com/BrooklynAndBailey * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * Music: Love Me by Charity Vance (http://youtube.com/CharityVanceMusic) iTunes Link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/love-me-ep/id818294153?uo=4&at=1l3v7Rs License: Personal emailed permission from Charity herself.'
