'Faux Stained Glass DIY Using Food Coloring And Mod Podge Hi, my crafty family! This week\'s DIY is this faux stained glass window hanging. It\'s easy and relaxing. Someone requested I do something with an owl and I found the cutest picture online that I thought would look great using the faux stained glass with food coloring and Mod Podge technique. I have so many DIYs to work on and can’t wait to show you all so I did this cute and easy one for this week. I\'ve used the faux stained glass technique before on a bottle. I remember it cracking a little bit and thinking it had something to do with gravity pulling if you put too much coloring in one spot, but it happened on this flat piece of glass as well so that can’t be it. I’m almost certain now that it has to be the mixing of the sealer and food coloring plus how much you put on one spot. I say this because I remember using other sealers like this to actually seal some of my projects and they would always leave cracks. When I wouldn’t overwork it or apply too much at once, it wouldn’t have as many cracks. The bottles of sealer will tell you on the back not to shake or overwork the sealer. This is still a cute and fun DIY and I really think that your kids would enjoy coloring in their favorite characters and seeing them as the sun lights them up. Either way, I hope it was inspiring in some way and that it was helpful. If you want to show your love and support please don’t forget to thumbs up the video, comment, and share my videos. I\'ve been artistic and creative my whole life. Unfortunately, it wasn\'t an easy one. I\'m a survivor of many trials and tribulations. All the trauma caused me to develop serious mental health issues. I was self-medicating by using drugs and alcohol for over twenty years. On August 1st, 2014, I threw myself at the mercy of the Lord and prayed to be saved. I\'ve been sober and clean ever since. Amen! I started living for the first time since I was a little girl. It all started with my health/fitness and, soon after, I found myself itching to get back to my passion, my art! But, I didn\'t just want to do it for myself. I wanted to share that joy with others. Not long after, I created my YouTube channel DIY No Need To Cry! I took the very bottles that were killing me and started to turn them into art. It\'s also a place where I get to share what I know and learn from others along the way. I also wanted to create a fun and safe space. I\'m a very dorky person, and if I could make just one person smile, in a world full of hardships, if only for a brief moment, in a world that can be cruel at times, then I wanted that opportunity. With each piece I create, I replace a bad memory and create new ones with you! Welcome to the crafty fam! God bless you all!
