(I\'m not sure if it is 2 T of salt, but this is approximately what it looks like) 3 drops of Blue and 3 Drops of Crimson in two different batches of salt [4:11] My hypothesis [5:32] What you need to dye yarn with food coloring [6:09] Presoaking the yarn in water + spalsh of vinegar [6:59] Counter top speckling [10:28] Low Immersion speckling Add some of the presoak water to have a little bit of coverage but not competley submerge the yarn We want the yarn at/above the surface [14:31] Spraying the countertop with some presoak water The salt wasn\'t dissolving so we needed to give it some help [16:00] Adding acid and flipping the low immersion yarn Add 4 T of white vinegar (this is a LOT of acid)  I switched to a fresh skein of yarn because I wanted to test the salt with higher acid [19:10] Back to the countertop Spray the yarn before adding sprinkles FIRst this time [21:09] Back to the low immersion stovetop [25:40] Back to the counter - preparing to steam set Steam set the yarn 20 minutes [27:06] Leave no dye behind!
