'This simple Pate Brisee is a buttery and flaky shortcrust for a tart, quiche, or pie. You can get creative with this pastry because it can be used for anything from Quiche Lorraine to Chicken Pot Pie.  We are going to use it in a Roasted Asparagus and Red Pepper Tart. It is very easy because you can make it in a food processor. It takes only minutes to make this crust. One year ago, I made a commitment to stop eating processed convenience foods.
