'Welcome back to my channel. In today’s video I’ll be showing you how I make meat pies. Meat pies are a staple in Dominican snack and can be filled with anything from beef to tuna to chicken. Diced potatoes together with peas and carrots can added to your filling to “stretch” the amount. INGREDIENTS: (Filling) 1 lb lean ground beef 2 cups hot water 1 tsp green seasoning 3 cloves garlic diced 1/2 medium onion diced 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp curry powder 1 tsp salt 1 tsp olive oil Bell peppers Seasoning peppers 1 tsp thyme 1 tsp celery 1 tsp parsley 2-3 tbsp dark soy sauce(Browning can substitute) INGREDIENTS: Short crust dough 2 cups flour 1/4cup flour(for dusting) 1 cup cold butter(8 oz) 4-6 tbsp cold water 1 tsp salt 1 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp baking powder Dough Press
