'Calcium is one of the important mineral salt for our body. 99% of calcium is found in our bone and teeth. Without calcium our heart and muscles will not function properly. Calcium is a good mood enhancer. Main source of calcium are green vegetables like spinach, palak, vegetables like tomato, carrot, beetroot, ragi and all the whole grains, sprouts and the main source of calcium is milk and milk products. Calcium intake is easy but calcium absorption is the important thing in the body. So the best way is to take the green vegetables in a raw form. Once we cook these the calcium forms calcium oxalates and is excreted out of the body. For calcium absorption you have to keep your body alkaline. Once the acidity increases the body bones will erode. One best way to keep your body alkaline is to take one glass of warm water, squeeze little lemon and drink half an hour after you meal. Too much of protein reduce the calcium absorption in the body. Once you take any green vegetables put tomato in it so that you are able to digest it and calcium oxalate should not form in your body.
