'Pate Brisee is a beautifully balanced short crust pastry. It\'s flaky crust is perfect for any pie, tart or pastry. It only takes 5 ingredients and  3 easy steps.  INGREDIENTS:  o 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour o 1 teaspoon salt o 1 ½ teaspoons sugar o 1 cup chilled butter, cut into pieces  o ½ cup water   INSTRUCTIONS:  1.  In a food processor, blend flour, sugar and salt. Process on high for 30 seconds. Add in butter pieces and process on high again. Just until butter breaks up. With processor on low, stream in water. Add a little at a time, until dough forms. Typically you will not use the total ½ cup of water.    2. Form dough into a disc, then split into two disc. Wrap each disc in plastic and refrigerate for one hour.  3.  Roll out dough and create desired pastry.'
