So you may be asking questions like `How did he break the internet?` `Where did he come from?`, don`t worry that`s what we`re here for today! Let`s get right into it... Food Ranger was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. For those of you who don’t know, this city is revered for its diverse and multicultural space. Here you can find foods from all over the world! This means that little Food Ranger grew up with influences from across the world! The one that stuck however was Asian cuisine. He and his family often ate this at home, thus sparking a passion for the food. Fast forward to when Food Ranger left high school in 2006, this is where the true magic began to spark. He decide to get a summer vacation job to save up some money, which he successfully did. Saving just over $5000, Food Ranger booked a trip to South East Asia. The nature of his trip truly began what we know now as the Food Ranger. He traveled from Singapore to Beijing for over 4 months visiting local regions. This meant that he was able to visit many little towns, villages, and cities in person in China. And what is Asia notoriously known for? If you guessed street food, you’d be right! This trip kickstarted Food Ranger\'s passion for documenting all the wondrous foods he was able to try. So when Food Ranger returned to Canada, he was a man with a mission. He knew that he wanted to be in Asia. So he did a degree in International trade and learned some Mandarin. Straight after graduating, he went right back to China to live his dream. This is where you start to see Food Ranger\'s true passion, and ultimately what made him what he is today. Food Ranger worked professionally in China as an English teacher, only on the side in his free time he would go around different food markets and film content for his private Youtube channel. This started off as simply his passion and hobby. Food Ranger himself has stated that the fact that he can make a living, and become so successful on Youtube is brilliant, but even if he hadn’t become so famous, he still would’ve traveled and continued to film food content! ⭐️ We truly Thank Food Ranger Trevor James for contributing to our growth with this interview. -'
