'Wan Tan Mee is one of the many famous street food dishes in Penang and also known as wonton noodles. It is a Cantonese noodle dish and very popular in Malaysia and in other countries like southern China, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Hong Kong. \"Mother and Son Wan Tan Mee\" is located directly at Chulia street (Lebuh Chulia) which is very popular among foreigners and tourists but did not have influence to the food at this hawker stall - it is still very authentic and also attract a lot of locals to stop by. Also the price is still very affordable. For 5 Malaysian ringgit you get a small portion which is around 1 Euro. For 6,50 Malaysian ringgit you can get a big portion. For locals it’s very common to stop by on the road with their motorbike or car to grab some noodles for takeaway. Chulia Street “Mother And Son” Wonton Mee Stall Address: Chulia St, Georgetown, 10450 George Town, Penang Open hours: 18:30–23:00, closed on Monday Prices: Small portion of wan tan mee cost 5 MYR each and a big portion cost 6.50 MYR. Personal Rating: 4.8/5 The best Wan Tan Mee I had so far
