'This video is about making first introduction to solid foods for babies when they are 6 months old.  For the first you would have breastfed your baby but now when your baby turn 6 months old the breast feed milk is not enough for babies and it is important to give other foods like vegetable purees, fruit purees and other cereals.   This video is about making vegetable puree for babies - carrot and beetroot vegetable puree.  This puree can be given from 6 months old babies.   Preparation of carrot and beetroot puree for 6 months old baby:  1. Take a small piece of carrot or beetroot 2. Shred them or cut them into small chunks 3. Add enough water in the beginning itself and cook them in low flame. Cover it with a lid 4. Once the carrot / beetroot is cooked transfer them to a mixie. 5. Grind them to a very thin puree 6. Now it is ready to serve and Transfer to the serving bowl.
