This is a shop that recently opened near my home in Krabi Town in Krabi Thailand, serving the big thing in Thai street food right now, the black crepe. These have been described in many videos as the shocking black crepe, but I was amazed at how good they taste. The “buffet crepe” I ordered had sausage, egg, caviar, seaweed, taro, chicken powder and melted cheese and was made with black batter. The batter is black because they add charcoal to the batter mix. These are also known as charcoal crepes. The shop featured in the video has unfortunately closed since I made the video, but you can find a similar shop nearby at the Google Maps coordinates: 8.085583, 98.905465 There are many savory and sweet toppings available, but I’d highly recommend the buffet. It cost 79 baht and was absolutely delicious. At the markets you\'ll find so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily for 4 years in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems.
