'A bio-reactive expiry label that decays at the same rate as food has been invented, aiming to help bring an end to the millions of tonnes of food wasted every year.  The Bump Mark label, designed by Solveiga Pakstaite from Brunel University, uses gelatine in order to tangibly show when a food product is going off.  Recently named the UK winner of the James Dyson Award, the Bump Mark offers an innovative solution to a highly criticised problem.'
