Meet Bunny, the 11-month old Sheepadoodle. Her owner Alexis Devine taught Bunny how to form sentences using a 45-button board. That’s right. She can already use more than 40 words to tell her family how she feels. Bunny is a superstar on TikTok with over 1.9 million followers, according to TODAY.com. And it’s all from the augmentative and alternative communication devices. The outlet says they’re tools that are typically used to help people with verbal speech deficits communicate. In this case, a series of programmed buttons on a communication pad. To teach Bunny different words, Devine would show how they’re used in conversation. Like “outside.” Devine would press the “outside” button and say the word outside before letting Bunny out, then saying it again once she came in.
